Need about 20 of them in the hunting version just to try.

I do not know if they will stabilize in my gun

PM ME please.

I am hesitant to post this because I know I am going to catch heck for talking about Elk hunting with a 6mm, but my friend shot his elk (large cow) with 6mm 105 grain Berger bullets. I am not a fan of Berger and do not reload them but thought I would post the results. The range was 165 yards and he shot it just behind the shoulder, so close that the shoulder was just barely hit on its way in. The entry would was massive (3 to 4 inches) and it took out two ribs on the way in. The top half of the left lung was hit pretty hard, but not turned to soup like you normally would see. The right lung had some damage as well but there was no damage to the inside of the opposite ribcage. We could not find the bullet anywhere and could not locate any fragments.

I wish I would have taken a better photo with something to scale, sorry in advance. He was shooting a 6mm Reming AI. These bullets left the muzzle at 3,000 fps (don't quote me on this). After being shot, the cow didn't act like it was even hit. It stood in the same spot for around 1 minute to a minute and a half. My partner was sure of the shot so he did not shoot again. It then walked uphill for about 10 feet laid down and kicked a little more before dying. I have taken 2 elk with a 30.06, one with 150 grain Silvertips and the other with 150 grain Superformance Interbonds. Both were perfect lung shots, one at 30 yards and the other at 75 to 100 yards. Both bullets penetrated through both ribcages and both were found under the hide on the far side. Both of my elk's lungs were turned to soup. I think both of mine died considerably sooner that this, however it is in the freezer and only made it 10 feet or so I shouldn't complain. I won't try Berger's myself, just wanted you to know my experience with this bullet.

Hope it helps,
Todd

I'd just shoot 105 Amax's. They will stabilize in the factory Remington 9 1/8" or 9 1/4" twist.
