jkruger,

Try this load for your 243 Win. Myself and 6-7 others used this load at our gun club. It shot well under MOA for everyone. As always, use standard saftey loading precautions.

243 Winchester
Nosler 70 gr BT
39.0 grs IMR4895
W-W Case
Federal GM210M primers

I used the 70 gr BT for High Power competition and shot many woodchucks with this load.

Good Luck.

Nosler 5th edition shows for IMR 4831 max 47 1/2 @ 3366 , starting load 43 1/2 f@ 3117 fps. Most accurate 43 1/2 gr.

IMR 4350 max of 47 @3610 and starting load of 43 @3250.
most accurate 47 gr.
I got 3384 fps.with the 47 gr IMR4350. Groups around .6".

I've used IMR 4350, IMR 4895, H4350, H4831 and am using H 414 now. Federal 210M primer with all, really made a difference with several of the powders.
I use 47 grs. H414 F210 M, 70gr. NBT in a FN custom - 3540 fps, groups a bit over .5'

70 gr. NBT with 47 1/2 H 414 in Sako with 23 7/8 " barrel gives 3643 fps and similar groups.

I would say 47 1/2 H414 is a little too much in the FN and max in the Sako.
Very good load.

I use 41 grains of IMR 4064 and get .5", 3 shot groups. It gives me a chronographed muzzle velocity of 3250 fps.
