243win and 90 grain

There are quite a number of elk in and around Gordondale and Bay Tree. I actually make it over to GP fairly frequently. My hunting partner for many years is running the archery department in Bartons.

I see i go to Barton's quite offten, i know Darrell pretty well there all good people in there,
i think that i may have chatted with your partner a few time's. Cant remember his name but a pleasent man. Alway's trying to sell me a new bow

i will stop by tommrow and tell him i was chatten with you, you said hornady makes a 235gr for the 375 i will pick up a box would happen to have any starting load's Thanks Ron

Fotis,

Nice recovered 7mm 120 gr BT. You are correct, the 120 gr BT is actually a 140 gr BT jacket cut back to a 120 gr profile. This makes for a thicker jacket and a much tougher bullet that can be run at higher impact velocities. This is the only bullet Nosler makes from another bullet.

Ron,

I sent you a PM with some data to weigh. If you need more, let me know.

Great job on the6x6 bull elk with 300rum, Taking my uncle into the kawa valley this sept, he want's to try my 375h&h on a bull, Looking to load up for 300 to 400 yard shot. The lightest bullet i can find here is 260 AccuBond, not really flat enough at 2700fps? Would like it around 3000fps, something a little flatter for the old fella, :) i hope he doesn't read this, got any idea's who make a lighter bullet for the 375. Thank's

Believe me it is flat enough. Ask Guy Miner on here. He took a bear at well over 300 yards with his Ruger #1 375 Holly and the 260 AB.
