243win and 90 grain

Give Varget a try. With the 85gr Sierra GK, Varget did very well in the accuracy and speed department. I would imagine the IMR4350 users will be along shortly! Scotty

Thank's i have played with varget and h4898, the pac-nor that i installed seem's to be a little fussy, with the lighter bullet's, trying re-19 so far so good, twist rate is 9 1/4. worked up to max load of 43.5gr with no over pressure sign's. Speed right around 3000fps .

I've never heard of a certified bullet smith, I'd be interested in hearing more about that!

Ronald Lake,

Welcome to the forum, glad you are here.

Its been a while since I loaded for the 243 Win but my go to powders were IMR 4895 for 70 gr bullets and IMR 4350 for 95 gr and 100 gr bullets. I think Varget would be a good powder to look at.
If you need any specific load data, let us know and we will be happy to assist you.

Instead of Fotis' post how about this instead.... nothin' personal Fotis.

My apologies for the rudness earlier.....

No offence taken, i guess maybe i should have worded it a little different. I really appreciate any shared knowledge and what i meant as bullet smith, my trade is a gunsmith, i never meant to sound like a know it all. Just enjoy reading what you good ole boy's have for recipe's. Maybe all this cold weather slow's a man head sometime's  once again thank you boy's so much.

Ronald, looking forward to seeing more of you around here. Ton's of great info here. Good bunch of guys. Scotty
