Has anyone found a neat little powder combo for this one, I’m testing out some ar2213sc(H4831) and running from min to max and see what works.

I'm not running the hot core but I am running the speer 100gr soft point boat tail in my 25-06. I'm pushing it with IMR 7977 speed is really good at a touch over 3400fps accuracy is under a inch if I do my part, this is out of a rebarreled Rem 700 with a 25 inch Bartlin barrel.

Never used that bullet but IMR 4350 has always made the 100 sing in the 25-06.

Never used that bullet but people I know have reported questionable results...as in too soft at high speeds. Does ok at 3000 or less muzzle velocity but that is the limit.

51-55 RL22 should do it. Start low

Yeah thanks guys, it’s not specifically for deer it’s more a pest round but occasionally where we shoot we spot a deer (Australia here)

A number of propellants perform well with 100gn bullets in .25-06Rem.
Personally I use H4350 with the Sierra #1620 Prohunter bullet giving an MV of around 3,250 fps.
I use it extensively on red deer hinds in Scotland with excellent results.

For the stags though, I favour the Nosler 110gn AB with IMR4831.
It's just perfect especially to somewhat longer ranges when necessary.
But now, (EU regs) I have to change propellants when this batch runs out, so I'm testing Viht.N560 .. so far, so good & looking promising.
