Anyone running a 25-06 AI and shooting the 100gr TSX? What Kinda velocity can one expect?

Can you explain this further? I was thinking 3400fps. So about 150fps faster than a 25-06 but about 150-200fps slower than a Wby..

The improved cartridges always show the greatest gain in velocity with heavier bullets possibly to compressed loads and slow burning powders.



A 24" barreled 25-06 will do 3300-3400 with rl 22 and rl25 with 100 grain ballistic tips PT and TSX's

My ruger #1B does 3265 fps with the 110 grain AccuBond in the standard 25-06 with 57 gr of RL 25.

Never been without one but my latest I just got this year. So far antelope but many other have fallen to my past 25-06's.

The 25-06 AI w/26" should run very close with factory 257 WM ballistics.

3500-3600 w/100g pills and 3300-3400 w/115's.

I get 3500fps w/24" bbl and 100g nbt in a standard 25-06 with 60.5g Retumbo, as well as 3250fps with 57g retumbo and 115g nbt.

I would imagine that you would get an easy 100-150fps gain with the AI and 2" more barrel.

That is spot-on with my Sendero 25-06AI with the 115

probably because in my gun that load only goes 3120. 24 inch factory remington.
