25-284 Winchester

Gents,

Just picked up an Argentine 1909 Mauser with a 24" barrel in 25-284 Win. This will be my Coues Deer and Antelope rifle. :grin:

I would like to load the New 110 gr .257 AccuBond bullet as well as the 115 gr BT, or even the 100 gr and 120 gr Part.

Nosler do you have any load data I could use to start with? I use the following powders, H4831SC, RL 22, RL19, H1000, RL25 and H414.

Any info would be appreciated.

The 25-284 is very close to the 25-06 in case capacity, you might start with lite 25-06 loads and work up watching for pressure. The throating on a wildcat cartridge may be short or long?? so work up with caution.
Also , depending on the hardness of your brass you may not see pressure signs until 75-80,000 PSI. Enjoy your new toy :grin:
