Lots of good info and I appreciate the feedback. I recently picked up a couple boxes of the 115gr partitions for my 25.06 that I plan to work with as soon as I get the time. Thanks! Mike
I have shot a lot of game with both the 115 and 120 Partitions. They both shoot well in my .25-06.
A friend of the family took a cow elk with the 115 PT in my .25-06, once I shot a coyote right between the eyes at about 100 yards with the same load. Talk about a void between the ears!
The 120 is just as good of a load. Have shot several deer with it, I feel that any good 100-120 grain .257 bullet is going to do the trick though.
My Dad uses 87 grain Sierra Varminters in his .250-3000 with great success even on deer.
Haven't used the BOB or the Roy but I am sure they do the same thing essentially.
Glad to see there are more folks around who appreciate the quarterbore.
I have killed deer with both the .243 and the 6mm. They are fine weapons but would prefer my .25-06 any day of the week thank you!
