I have had awesome luck using retumbo. Us869,and 50bmg. I use retumbo now great temperture stability.

Right now using 70grn retumbo COAL 3.300 140Accubonds not pushing really hard there so you can start there work up its shooting 3050 out out a nosler rifle its shoots really accurate so i stopped to save some barrel life but ima work up some hotter loads after i get rid of what i have loaded. Was using 79grn 50bmg didnt have a chrono for that load shot really well also. I dont know speed same bullet and same length. I tried seating into lands and work my way out just couldnt find a good spot till i went to the book and landed at 3.300

Str8meat you find a load for your 26nosler yet i did some more load work up using retumbo shoots great for me.

I did somemore load work up shooting 3200 78.1grns retumbo coal 3.350 140grn AB

I will be happy with 3100 FPS in a 142 long range AccuBond. She seems to shoot factory loads really good and gets hot fast.

Right now using 70grn retumbo COAL 3.300 140Accubonds.

I was just about to try loading some Hornady 140gr SST’s with Retumbo for my 26Nosler. Called Hodgdon and they gave me a Min of 62.0gr and a Max of 67.5gr with a Swift Spitzer. 140gr. That seemed low to me looking in Nosler Book for a comparison. What was your starting charge? I was thinking of starting at 66.0gr seeing as this round definitely shouldn’t be loaded low pressure.
