270......100gr. bullet

Nope. They are varmint bullets with very thin jackets. Use a 120 Barnes or something similar if you want speed.
 
I would go with the 130 gr or 140 gr bullets for deer. :wink:

Hi Smitty 88, Iam new to this forum but I have been shooting and loading for the 270 win. for over 35 years. I believe that every caliber has its pet bullet and I really believe that you are not going to like the 100 gr any better than the 130 gr which is likely the most popular bullet for the 270. I have heard a lot of good things about the AccuBond in the 140gr and I know there has been a lot of work done in the last few years on 140gr bullets but I have not tried them yet.
The 100gr was made for varmit and antelope but I good shot placement makes up for everything.
