Also tried 60grn Nosler Partitions, but I just cant get those things to shoot.

Nice work. Looks like you have two rifles and loads dialed in. Any idea what your velocity for the RL-22 .270 load is?

I just picked some RL-22 up and I have 100 x 130gr BTs. I'm looking for a range
"fun" load and was hoping I could use these BT's or some SGKs I have laying around.

That's a couple of good loads you have there, too bad the 60 gr PT's aren't working for you it would be a great game bullet.

Sorry no, I don’t know velocities.

I still have about 35 more of those partitions loaded up. I will probably take them to the field for coyotes if I think I might see a cougar out there. I’m getting about 2" groups with just about every load I’ve tried. Certainly fine for coyote size game out to a couple hundred yards or so.

At first I thought you don't have a fast enough twist for the 60 gr PT but you are getting good groups with the 69gr Matchking so it must be something else.

Nice shooting!
If I may, try changing the COL with both loads. You may be able to pull in those nice groups even more.

That's some fine shooting, there. You have a couple of great loads that will serve you well.

You have a couple of fine shooters there. I might suggest along with COL, you might switch primers. My .223 shoots every bullet weight and load better with CCI 450's than it does with the 400's. For sure it could be just my rifle, but primers are a cheap experiment.
