Don't forget the great Nosler AccuBond LR in 150 gr for larger stuff, out behind 300 yds there are big advantages with this loading, with RL 26 its right there with a Big 7 , and makes an honest Elk/ Moose
Cartridge out of it. As Dan says for game down in the 250 lb or smaller size the 130 gr at 3100 is tough
to beat, though a 6.5x55 loaded up with 49grs of 414 under the 129gr ABLR going 2950 is nipping at its
Heels, but still can't quite catch the grand olde .270

My Old A Bolt II would do rather well with the 140 Accubonds @ 2950.

Very nice. Tough to beat a 270 with a good 130. That’s a keeper.

I know this is a Nosler forum and I use Nosler bullets in a lot of the rifles I shoot, but I worked up a Honady 145gr ELDX load that shoot sub MOA. I have been to the range with it 3 times and have been able to repeat my results each time, so I think its a keeper. Rifle is a Weathery Vanguard with a Nikon 4-12x40 BDC scope.. 58.5 grs Norma MRP, 3100 FPS..
