I tried a few rounds with 7828 and the 140 AB and the140 PT. aAccuracy was just fine. I thought the velocity was rather low with the charges I used. 57 gr. with the 140 PT did not quite reach 2600. The 140 AB went 2775,2723,2738 with 59 gr. Looks like it would work if you pour some more powder in that case. I did not really give it a fair chance since I did not do any further testing after the above stuff. I know 56 grains will run the 140,s well above 2900 so I guess I just lost interest in 7828 with 140,s. With the 150 LRAB or the 160 PT 7828 may just steal the show.

Sas74, I will post my 140 gr, 7828 loading results here with load information and targets. I should get to it next week sometime.

I went 60 grains of 7828ssc with the 140 Bal-tip and got 2940 or so, accuracy was good. It is over what nosler shows, I wish I could pressure test! This load came from Handloader magazine if I remember right.
