I was wondering if anyone with a little free time might be able to help me pick a powder to use in my 270 WSM with 150g ABLR's. I use Norma brass if that makes a difference. I plan on using this rifle and bullet on a Montana elk hunt this fall. Thanks for everyone's input in advance.

RL26. Should get around 3100 no problem. Just ran it for another guy yesterday.

I can get you a full powder run later. I'm not at home. I copied and pasted from last nights email.

I’m using 26 in my 270 WSM with 150 Partitions and getting an easy 3150 and excellent accuracy. Thinking that 150 ABLR would be a WICKED load for you.

I bought an 8 lb jug of RL 26 to give a whirl. I had been really satisfied with RL 22 and 130g accubonds up to this point. I just figure 150 g ABLR would be a better choice for a critter bigger than a deer. Does anyone have a quickload projection for RL 26 and an ABLR?

Shoot, I didn’t even notice Dewey beat me to it.

I ran RL25 a bit with 150 ABLRS when they first came out. Great speed but I had erratic accuracy. I think I probably needed to seat them deeper. They shoot really well out of my 270 Winchester.
