Hey guys!
I have been away for a few due to an accident involving a 3 foot aluminum ladder and my left leg. The ladder won by breaking my tibula and fibula bones requiring me to have surgery and a rod with 6 screws in my leg. Everything is going alot better now. Just having to learn how to walk halfway decent again.
I just bought a Remington 700 CDL in the dealer exclusive "Boone & Crockett Series" chambered in 270 WSM.
Can any of you give me some load advise for this round?
I figured why i am down i will load and the i will have time for physical therapy to gain my strength back for my fakk wyoming antelope hunt

THANKS TO ALL :!:

Glad to see that your getting better. Don't you hate when those ladders attack you like that.

I sure can. My M70 liked 61gns of RL-19 to push 140ABs. I use GM215M primers and my COL is 2.875, measured from base to bullet tip (yes I know this isn't the greatest way to measure COL, but it works for me).

I just worked up a load for the 130gn ET using 63gn of RL-22 w/the rest being the same. The ET load doesn't quite shoot as good as the RL-19 AB, but for the hunting I do at Vandenberg AFB, the MOA results I got from the RL-22 load will work just fine. Most of the shots here are 150yds or less.

My M70 likes 58.5 gr. of IMR 4350. Getting about 3050 fps and shoots around MOA. Still looking for something a little faster that shoots good.

Be careful loading E-Tips. Nosler says not to exceed the medium loads list for the repective grain bullet from the manual. I've attached the link to the topic where they state this when I asked about data for a 270WSM and the 130ET.

"We recommend starting with Nosler’s minimum load and not to exceed the mid load.
*We recommend seating E-Tip™ products .050” to .100” off the rifling lands for optimal accuracy."

You'll get a little notice that says the same thing with your bullets. The B.C. is .459 for everyone that has been asking.
