Just found a 8lb container of hogdons RETUMBO for $165. Is that a good price??

Also which bullet? 160 or 175 AccuBond for deer?? AI also have 140 on hand in both ballistic tips and Accubonds.....

165 bucks for an 8 pounder is not bad. For the Retumbo 's slow burning characteristics I would use the 160 Accubonds, you will push the heavy bullets pretty fast with that type of powder. On my 7 Mag test with Retumbo and 168 VLD, I was pushing 3,075 fps, but settled with RL 25 and at 3,050 fps.

That's a good price for Retumbo.
Go with the 160 gr AB and don't look back.
