280 Remington 160 Gr Loads

I need 280 Remington load data. 160 Gr Barnes XLC/or TSX, OAL, CL, and make of rifle you are using. I am loading some rounds for a guy in Canada, and he used to use Fail Safes, but likes what I did with XLCs in a 257 Wby. All I need to do is be similar to factory MV (I have those). My brother came to me yesterday, and asked me to do this.......in 9 days. Not a problem if I didn't have a full time job, but that's family. It's like I always say, "You can pick your nose, but you can't pick your family." Thanks Forum

This load data is for the 280 Remington and has nothing to do with AI.


Touch not Squeeze,

The MV is approx 2750 fps and the COL is 3.300". The R-P cases are trimmed to 2.530, the max case length is 2.540".

Rifle is a Remington M700 Classic of '98 vintage.
