Thanks guys. This was my first rifle ever. Was my only rifle for looking time. Harvested many animals with it from prairie dogs to elk. It actually shoots factory Winchester supreme ctbt ammunition at about moa and Remington c ore-lokts just under that. It has seen just about every kind of weather Colorado can throw at a hunter and had never failed me once.

I'd be lost with out my 30-06. Just can't imagine being with out one.

OP. That group with the 56.0 gr. load looks like what I'm getting with the 165 gr. Accubonds from my 30-06. I have a test series made up with the Partitions but haven't been able to get out and shoot them. Hopefully sometime this week. I don't like doing load work up tests when it's windy as hell.

I have owned my .30-06 for 18 years and it is my most accurate "out of the box" rifle. I did replace the hot melt bedding with Accraglass but other than an ounce of glass, I have not touched it. It is a true 1/2 MOA rifle and is the only one that I have.
