Nice rig!

I'm guessing that went about 2500 fps out of the 22-inch barrel? Quickload thinks 2620 fps would be a sweet spot, around 47.5 to 47.7 grains. Or load down to 44.2 grains for another node at 2450 fps.

Quickload is just a model, though, which means it is almost always wrong. Helpful, but still wrong!

For a light recoiling load I have also used the 125-grain NBTs with H4895. Around 2400 fps out of a 24-inch barrel. I don't remember the COAL, but they were short!

Thanks Joel.

I did not chrono today and I guessed @ 2500fps also. I loaded up 16 rounds and went over to my 405yd spot and dialed up 10". My program shows up 9.5" but the humidity was 100% and there was a breeze in my face so I dialed up a touch extra. 11 rounds later I had 11 hits prone from a bipod. I then shot the remaining 5 rounds from a seated position and went 3 of 5. I had an unusually good day shooting for me. :)

I like the NBT's and from what I have seen the 168 has a very thick jacket.

Very true and I have yet to have anything walk away from it.
