We've had good luck with 61 gr imr4350, and 150gr nosler SB, army brass, and CCI 250 primers. velocity was just a touch under 3000.
59 grains also worked well with the 165's. Velocity was 2812, and the sd was 8 8)
These are not starting loads. Work up carefully.

I've seen 1895s fitted with scopes but my plan is to stick with the tang sight that was already installed when I bought the rifle.
