Go Old School with it! Get you some Hawk 190gr but in the .025" jacket and use LeverMagic powder or H335. You can easily get to 2100 with 30gr H335, standard primer (maybe a tad more) and be even more deadly than the older .303 Savage! It only went around 1900/190 but it "ruled" back in its day! I carried that H335/190 load/Mod 336 rifle one deer hunt but no Joy. I then had it Ackleyed and finally gave the rifle to a good friend. He used my load with the Speer 170HC going around 2400 on huge hog. It is one fine bullet its self, ha. Try that 190, but be sure you get the thinner jacketed .025 with it!
