.30-30 Contender hunting load

For the .30-30 contender I am wanting to try 150gr NBT's. I've messed around with the SST's also 150gr and have gotten excellent accuracy with H4895. Any reports from 14" barrels with this type of load against deer?

I use the 150BT with my Cont. 14", but it is a 30-30AI. I have shot Deer sized game out to just under 200 with great results & I am confident that it will do the same out another 50-75 yards the same way. The Nosler BT
is perfect for these velocities. I get 2,400fps, you will get 2,100 or so most likely, so it should do well for you to 180-200 yards.

Thanks! Are you using optics on your contender? I have iron sights so a 100yrd shot on deer is probably what I'll consider my limit for this gun although I do tag the 200yrd gong regularly at the range from a rest.
