30 nosler 185gr vld/ 180 ballistic tip

Doe anyone have experience loading 185gr vld or 180bt?
My other 30Nosler is a 9twist and have only shot 200gr and heavier bullets.

My new build is a 26" 10twist so I'm going for 195gr to 180gr bullets?
I'm loading Nosler brass if it matters.

All I can say is in 300 win mags, shoots outstanding with 185 classic hunters,77 to 78 grain of h1000. 2 browning a bolts and a christense n Mesa. 180 Partition or AccuBond same load they shoot great. Hope that helps.

My wife has shot her 30 Nosler with the 180 gr BT and AB out to 800 yards and taken several deer out to 400 yards. Great bullet weight for the 30 Nosler.

180 Ballistic Tips and Accubonds shoots real good in my 300 Win Mag. I was googling for some 200 Accubonds to try out, Midway shows that its discontinued. I wondered why.

That 30 Nosler is about the perfect 300 magnum case in my eyes. I love my RUM, but truth be told, if I was to wish it was something else, I wished it was a 30 Nosler. Little shorter case, about the same speeds if you set up the throats correct and man, from the few I have seen, they are wicked accurate.

Actually if I were to get a big 30, I'd be leaning towards the 300 H&H Mag. If I need bigger, I've got the 338 RUM and 375 H&H Mag.

That 30 Nosler is about the perfect 300 magnum case in my eyes. I love my RUM, but truth be told, if I was to wish it was something else, I wished it was a 30 Nosler. Little shorter case, about the same speeds if you set up the throats correct and man, from the few I have seen, they are wicked accurate.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with them!

My 300RUM had just too much blast for my liking. I eventually rebarreled the rifle and chambered it in 30Nosler. It was a good move. Dropped my first bull elk with that 30Nosler.
