Pounded out a couple shots on steel last night at 400. I wanted to verify the dots in the 6x36 were doing what my dope said with the 200 AB at 3150.
So being the dummy I am, I lined up on the upper red dot on the steel with the crosshairs instead of using the dot and shot them. No big deal, I measured them for drop and went back to verify in my ballistics program that I was about 2 MOA low.
I laid the 1st dot on and let 3 fly and was fairly pleased with this. I know the gun shoots and the loads pretty solid, so I’m calling this a good one. Those big 200’s definitely hit steel pretty hard at 400. Next ive gotta get out to 500 and run it.
