300wsm and 6.5x47L range day

Well I shot my 300wsm at 100, 300, and 511yds today along with my 6.5x47L at 100yds and 511yds. It went pretty well. I shot 100 and 300 from my bench and shot 511 off the bipod from the back of my truck. I was a bit uncomfortable shooting the 300wsm and I'm sure that's why the group was 3 3/4" but I got it figured out and shot a 2 1/8" 5 shot group with my 6.5x47L. I ran out of white paint so I had to use grey which didn't give a very good contrast at 511yds. I had a really good 2 shot group at 300yds and then pulled the 3rd right about 1 1/4".

Dang! Excellent shooting. What bullet and powder are you using in your 300wsm?

It's 69grs of R-26 with a 215 Berger. The rifle is built on a long action and OAL is just under 3.2". That load is shooting 2910fps in a 26" barrel that only has about 50 rounds through it. It should speed up a bit when I get north of 100 rounds.
