The Nosler manual shows 2.100 as the length of the case for all WSM's. Has anyone got a trim lengh for minimums and has onyone shot cases that were slightly over (5 thousands)?

2.100 inches is the maximum SAAMI length. Trim length is 2.090 inches, as recommended trim is standardised at 0.010 inches on all cases. Should a case grow longer than the maximum, there is always a danger of increased pressure. These measurements assume SAAMI standardised chambers. Were a chamber out of specs, it is possible that the neck could be longer without creating excessive pressure. However, it is always a good practise to assume standard conditions, unless you have evidence of deviation in your chamber.

Joel, Mike is spot on. I have found that a trimming to a minimum lasts quite a few reloadings. So you won't have to do it much once you get it under. That is one of the other reasons I like the WSM's as they don't seem to stretch to awfully much, at least in my little bit of time with them. Scotty

Thanks guys, four of the 20 shot are over the limit by 2-5 thousandths. Will be best to have them all the same length anyway.
