(.308) 200 grain Grandslam

Anyone shot this bullet in either the 300 Win Mag or 300 WSM?

Was curious about picking some of them up for elk hunting. With the occasional 300 RUM or WBY all the rest of us use the WSM or Win Mag. One thing that drew me to it was the shorter overall length of the bullet which to me spells less chances for slipping crimp in the 300 Win Mag.

My WSM loves the 180 grain E-tips and Accubonds about equally but for arguments sake, I was just wondering how these typically shoot and perform.

This was one of my favorite bullets back when I had my 308 Norma mag the bullet was pretty accurate and performed well on game but the Grand Slam of today isn't the same bullet anymore. After they went to a one piece core they can't be counted on anymore to hold their core after expansion, they once were my favorite bullets but now the AccuBond has taken their place. It pains me to say this but there are much better bullets available at a similar price these days.
