Anyone ever tried the Lee 308 collet die in their Dillion 650. I've been wanting to try this for some time now but I'd have to change out the primer system to large primers and most of what I load with it uses the small primers (handguns and 223). I originaly intended to get another 650 setup with the large priming system but my job and health went down the drain and I'll have to live with my current setup.

Anyway it appears to me that the collet die and ball powder(748) I could quickly and accurately reproduce my 600 yd. match ammo with alot less time and effort.

Anyone else tried this?

NO reason I can think of that it wouldn't work. If you have room I'd recomend adding the redding body die. I use this combo on a normal single stage press and love it. Just bump the shoulder back about .001-.002 for perfectly reliable feeding and away you go.
