308 over run at midway

That's 1970's pricing. I believe they are Winchester Power Points. I ordered some, they should be arriving in the next couple of days.

Midway changed the picture and it now resembles the Sierra Pro Hunter. Mine should be here tomorrow.

I ran a few through the 308 this afternoon.
I used a proven load of IMR4064 and Ginex large rifle primers. Still shot just under MOA. Ran one through some jugs and found the jacket going into the 5th jug. The lead core was inside jug 5.
I also put two on the 200 yard gong. They landed just off center less than an inch apart.
Definitely a good deer bullet but does just as well for plinking and banging steel. At $0.13, it's tough to beat.

Looks like the price was right!
I recently picked up some Nosler 150 gr. solid base seconds and need to try those.
They look very similar
Nice shooting!

I actually bought a few hundred Nosler 165 gr SB seconds last year and took a late season doe with one. That's the bullet I am actually going to hunt with in the 308.
I bought these Sierra's for plinking and banging steel because of the price point. Just too good a price to pass up.

Three shot groups at 50 yards. Staball Match powder. WW primers. OAL 2.8 after the starting load. Looking forward to trying at 100 yards with higher charges and chrono. (lower bullet hole second group from left from another gun)
