308 win with lever evolution and 150 accubond

Thought I share this since I could not get varget to perform, I thought I try this combo, and low and behold first effort I was more than pleased.

Seems like alot of internet chatter is "thinking" lever powder is a twin to cfe223. Perhaps some slightly different coatings.
I've got some of both on hand...it looks the same, smells the same, and a dropped charge out of my rcbs dispenser weighs exactly the same ...right to a 10th of a grain. So density per volume is dead on the same.
Got a little break open cva scout rifle in 708 that won't shoot unless pressure is about 45k or less. Gonna try and run a test using both w/identical charges and see what the chrono says. Lever sure performs in my 3030. Up to 100 fps faster than old school 3030 powder w/less pressure signs. Not saying the same magic will show on the 708...but a worthy ....somewhat silly....project.

This powder has peaked my interest enough to make up this load which I accidentally mixed up a primer, but I figured I'd see what the wlr primer would do. All together happy with a 1 1/16" group with my old 303 British. 8)
