I recovered this 250 gr PT from my bull moose. Shot from my 338 RUM, MV 3024 fps I hit the bull at 70 yards behind the right shoulder through the lungs and through the off side shoulder blade knocking him right off his feet. The bullet was recovered under the hide and expanded to .720" and weighs 174.6 grs.

That is great performance for a tortuous test, Jim. Excellent tutorial.

Very nice Jim! That sucker put the crush on stuff! But then again Partitions have been doing that for a couple of years!

70 yards... dang, that thing was just off the end of the muzzle. Must’ve been powder burns on the hide

Excellent performance! Great to see it all come together with perfect results.

Here is the off side shoulder blade with a golf ball size hole through it from the 338 250 gr PT.
