After 6 months I have some Accubonds
coming from BPS.
Never loading these in my .340 I hope they
are all I think they will be. I cant wait.

Skid,

This is my bullet of choice for the 338 RUM. They hold together , penetrate deep and are very accurate.
Here is a group I shot from my 700 LSS 338 RUM at 200 yds, which went .515".

Nice shooting Jim!

Heck of a bullet. Who would have thought "back in the day" that we'd have superb hunting bullets capable of such accuracy?

Guy

They also shot great in my .340 Bee. The guy who bought mine killed a nice elk with the .340 Bee and 250 AB's last fall at over 500 yards. Problem tha I had was that the bullest are too long for the .338 WM case length.

I'm sure they well shoot great for you :)

BTW, great shooting Jim! Awsome brother!

H1000 and the 250 AccuBond @ 2,900 ft/sec produced 1" groups at 300 yds in my semi-custom 338 RUM. One shot to the shoulder of a 900 lb moose flipped him over backwards.
FWIW the 225gr AccuBond did not shoot well in this rifle at all.

Really great shooting Jim !
What length barrel on your 700 ?

My 700LSS is a stock rifle, 26" tube with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and a Williams
brake. Scope is a Leupold VX6 3-18x44mm.

Aye, 'tis a handsome rifle you have crafted, Jim. Moreover, its beauty is enhanced by its accuracy.
