I've been looking around and it seems like RL25 would be a great powder choice to use in a 338-378 but data is pretty scarse. My newest edition Nosler book does not have any loads that use RL25 and Nosler 250 grain partitions. Does any one have any load data for starting and max loads for the 338-378 useing RL25 and a 250 grain Nosler Partition?

WEll I saw a guy using 109g of MRP-2, with a 250g Partition and getting 3075fps. Now I looked at the burn rates, MRP-2 is a head of RL-25 on the chart by 1 spot. SO pretty much identical. I would say if you started around 99-100g you would have a place to start and if you have a cronograph, you can work your way up to 3000-3100fps depending on powder charge or if your rifle can handle it. Hope this helps.

I would strongly urge you to contact Alliant directly before you start "WAG"ing a load. Burn rates and pressures could be dangerous
even if they are close in a burn rate chart.
