338 loading data for a 275 gr trophy bonded bear claw

Hello folks,
Been a while for me to come by and visit. I have a new toy and I was able to get my hands on some 275 gr trophy bonded bear claw bullets. These are pre speer. I have contacted speer and they can't help me. Looked all over the place and no luck. Thought maybe one of you will have this data.

Do a search on beretzs. Scotty worked up a load with the old Speer 275 gr bullets in his 338 Win Mag.

I used 72gr of RL22 and got 2650 out of my 24" barreled M70. CCI250's and WW cases, and seated to a COAL of 3.34.

Here was a 200 yard group. Pretty awesome load. Hoping the 250gr PT's shoot as well. Scotty

AB, if I can do it, anybody can!!! I would try IMR7828 and RL22. I would imagine if your rifle will shoot them, those two powders should get you something to work with. I think the 275gr TBBC would be some serious buffalo or brown bear medicine. They shoot plenty flat to 400 yards too, so it is not like your throwing pumpkins either. Elmer Keith seemed to like them, so there has to be something to it? Scotty
