338wm and 210TTSX

Is it possible to safely get this bullet to around 3,000fps in the 338win mag?

Sure I’d think so. I’ve used RL19 and 17 with 210 PTs and Swifts for years. The Swifts run about 2975 and PT a hair over 3k.

3k and a 210ttsx would be a hammer for sure.

I’ve tried 3 powders with the 210gr TTSX and RL-17 go me to 2950 fps before I stopped. RL-26 is a bit too slow and Hybrid -100V got me to 2900.

I was thinking 17 might be pretty good for the speed/pressure curve with the 338 WM. I was shooting my 275 rigby today getting ready for next year in Africa, maybe. 2950 with 140gr Accubonds pushed with 49.5gr. RL17.

I was thinking H4350 which would have a similar burn rate to RL17. Can't get RL17 here right now, or if you can find it, at a price I am willing to pay for it.

It’s similar to 17 just won’t get the same top speeds. I don’t think it matters too much though, the difference from 2900 to 3000 isn’t going to change any outcome I can think of.
