At the 358 Win velocities (2400-2600 fps) are the 35 caliber 225 Nosler ABs and 250 Nosler PTs well suited for this caliber ? Or better suited for the Whelen and 350 mag velocities....TIA .......

Stay with the 225 gr PT, will expand down to 1800 fps.
I have had great success with this bullet in my 35 Whelen.

I agree with the Partition, but the 200's also are great bullets for the 358, and will kill anything in the lower 48, Canada, and MOST game here in Alaska. The only thing I wouldn't tackle up here would be a big brown bear with that combo. Yeah, I bet we could argue all day about how well it would kill, and I agree with it too, but I just don't agree that it hits hard enough for big bears.

The Partition will work great. I believe the AB is too long. A similar stigma that plagued the 225 BT in the shorts (350 mag, 358 win )

it's a shame Nosler don't make a 200 Grain AccuBond ain't it? that would be a great bullet and would really wake up the 358...hell, we have a 338 Federal, there shouldn't be anyone left in the industry ANYWHERE that really thinks that the 358 can't be a strong market performer in the bullet line...

Wouldn't it be great if Nosler would make us a 200-gn AccuBond for our .358's? Sigh....

I used a 225 Partition to whack a blacktail with my .358 2 years ago. It certainly killed him! This year, I switched to 200-gn Hornady SP Interlocks for deer hunting with that rifle and they certainly worked great too on the 2 deer I killed. In truth, at .358 speeds, all you need is a decent cup-and-core bullet for deer...

Here's a photo of the exit wound I got from the 200-gn Hornady in my .358 Model 7. The deer is a little blacktail forky. Thanks to Brad for telling us how to upload photo's on a different thread even though he was mad at me at the time! :)

I think they will end up making it for us. The reason being, it's one of the few actual "holes" in the market they could still fill! There is NO premium 200-gn .35-cal bullet except the Barnes, and a lot of us don't like Barnes bullets. Plus the Barnes is a long bullet and that's a problem in itself.

C'mon Nosler. Pleeeeze!

had a chance to try the accubonds in my 358 encore with a 15 inch tube, first two shots were one 225 gr. Partition and one 225 gr Bt, both dead on at 100yds. and 1/2 inch apart. next 5 shots were all accubonds about 2inches lower and about a 2inch group, Same case, same powder, same primers burning 49 gr IMR 4895. I was expecting the accubonds to fly a little higher being a little longer but go figure.
