375 260 gr & 300 gr AB Tested

I’ve learned from my past test , it takes a few feet of water to stop them big boys.

They have been known to do that, on occasion. Think I read that on another forum.

Here's a 375 RUM 260AB I retrieved from my bull elk in 2010. The elk was about 30-40 yrds away. It weighed 176.4gn

Great bullet test Jim. I have yet to try the 260's in my 375 Improved but it might be a good one. Maybe someday Nosler will make them again!

I think Nosler is starting to catch up so maybe they will make a 375 run. The 260 gr AB is indeed a good one.

I used the 360 gn AccuBond in my 375 RUM for 20+ years and never lost an elk. They penetrate 3/4 the length of a big bull. At 3080 fps they are DRT. 4 elk so far.

Or Nosler is making a big, heavy, bullet I don't know about.

I like both but from my perspective I’d rather shoot the 260gr. The difference in recoil is noticeable.
