The additions to the Alliant line are all interesting. I don't know that they will provide more velocity, but other factors may make them powders of preference.
Because of a family illness I haven't been able to shoot much lately but I did some fooling around with mr4000 when it first came out and there wasn't much data. .....even from Alliant. I feel its one of those newer powders that reacts a little different in different case configurations. In most casings it seems and is faster than even re19. Yet data for the 300 win mag says its one of the fastest powders for a 180 grainer. I've used it in 243, 3006, and 270 win. It's clean burning and nice metering. I just got one of the latest hornady manuals and it has quite a bit of data in it for mr4000 so if you want something specific let me know and I'll see if I can help you from the manual or my data.
