416 Rem Mag

That would be a sweetheart on a Ruger! Wow, imagine the blasting power you would have then. At least you wouldn't be undergunned anymore with that little 300RUM and little, bitty 200gr AB's! Scotty

I think until you break .40 caliber rifles Bryan, you are going to have a hard time living with yourself. Plus, think of your family, do you wanna get caught flat footed without something to put a dino or buffalo down, if they happen to come running into your yard.... Not me!!! I wouldn't want that on my conscious. Scotty

Wow, and I thought I could justify anything. I bow to the master. :)

Now, just to find an M70 .416.

He has a way of talking you into getting just about any rifle!

BK, it comes really easy! I to would like a M70 in a 375 or bigger with a Leupold 1.5x5 in Leupold QRW's. Scotty

Sounds like it's time to build a 416-375RUM. 375RUM brass can be found, but the expense of a custom barrel, dies, and no load info may make it not worth it to some people.

Was looking at the PAC-NOR site for a new .243AI barrel and noticed that they make a 416-375RUM barrel. I think just found a start to my Cape Buff rifle!

Well thank you very much, I now have to start looking for a donor Rem. RUM action.

Should be real easy to find a 700 SPS RUM cheap.
