Thought I'd share this with you guys. One of the clients at Great Northern Adventures used a Marlin 444 with 240 Gr. Rem cor-Lok factory ammo to shoot a 150 lb Cinnamon Bear . The range was 10 yards , the bear was on its hind legs reaching for a piece of Beaver , 1/4 to him slightly . He hit it perfectly behind the shoulder had it passed through it would have came out about at the Diaphragm. The cup and core were found very close together, the cup at the rib cage on the off side . The core was just into the hide on the off side and in fact was in the skin after we skinned it. Good hunting KH
