58 gr IMR 4350

I was shooting my 300WSM with 22" barrel with IMR 4350 and Nosler 180gr BT. Can some one give me a estimate velocity for this round???

That's a fairly moderate load......using a powder that is somewhat faster burning than is optimum for that case capacity and bullet weight.

I'd guess a muzzle velocity somewhere in the neighborhood of 2650 fps. That's an estimate only........lots of things influence the velocity that you may be getting in your specific environment.

assuming you filled the case to 100% of AVAILABLE CAPACITY WITH THE BULLET SEATED TO NOT COMPRESS THE CHARGE, which quickload says should be about 62.5 grs. you should get about 2920 fps. This also happens to be a max load pressure wise. Obvious no computer program can be 100% correct so take this with a grain of salt and work up carefully using accepted practices

I think "savage300wsm" wanted a velocity estimate based upon his usage of 58 grains of IMR 4350.
