Bought a 6.5 284 Norma from a guy ,
#3 Douglas barrell
Greyboe stock and bottom metal
20 moa base and Burris rings
Dies, 150 Lapua cases ,2 boxes of bullets.
4 by 20 Steiner scope .

1000 bucks ,

shoots around. .300 to .500 so far but doing ladder test to work up loads as he didn't have any data with rifle.

Friend shot it and offered me 2200 bucks ,

Should I sell it ??? LOL

Sounds as if you got a good buy. That is a nice profit. I can see how it would be a temptation.
 
If you have not built a attachment to it, I would sell it in a heart beat to double my Money and do a build to my personal specifications.
 
A wise man once said, "the best way to double your money on a rifle is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket". It appears you have beaten that axiom. Dont know what to tell you but if you aent shooting competitively maybe you are ok selling it. Then again it shoots,,,, CL

Have several great shooting rifles,
This just a toy , rifle is a little heavy, but not horrible.

I believe the scope alone is ~1200 bucks
