Should have my custom accumark any day now.

What would you top it with?

I have developed an affinity for the Zeiss 4.5 X 14, with the BDC turret. Have them on my two primary hunting rifles. Nice scope!

Leupold VX-6 3-18x42mm with the FireDot WindPlex reticle and tactical turrets.

I do have this one...... too much power????

Leupold VX-3 8.5-25x50mm Side Focus

I think another SWFA will crush the Leupold in tracking if that matters. If your not dialing the Leupold would probably be very good. I really like the SWFA scopes though. No scope I've owned thus far has moved so predictably.

Cool caliber, are you planning on hunting with it or just for paper and steel shooting. Th e Swarovski X5 3-18 would be awesome, Nightforce NXS 3-15x50 or the Leupold VX6 3-18 would be my picks if one was hunting with this rifle.

More LR hunting. It is a fully decked out custom shop hand lapped (everything done to it) Range certified Accumark. Well under Moa with targets and full Oehler 46 data and BC listings in the rifle etc.

This is why I was asking about the LR 8x25x50 Leupold. Seems it might not be up to par based on your remarks on this post.
So what does it lack?

Fotis , I have an 8-32x56 NXS on my Lapua . for long range hunting and shooting it's great . the only thing it lacks is lower power for closer shooting . that's no surprise because we already knew this , and it's not the intended use for the rifle . if you have it I'd sure give it a try .
