6.5 Remington Magnum?

I know a guy that has a M700 in 6.5 its a great rifle I,v tried to trade or buy it from him but he won't budge.

Anyone used the 129 gr Horandy SP in the 6.5 RM. My Remington 673 shoots these very well and I have a large supply. Verses working up a 125 PT thought I would see what these are like.

Would be used for deer and antelope. Maybe an occasional small-mid sized black bear.

Tried the 129 Interbond - got 4" groups from my 673.

I am loading the 130 gr AB with 56.0 grs IMR 4831 in my M673. MV is 3047 fps and .286" at 100 yds. Might be worth a try.

I also need to play around with the 125 gr PT.
The 130 gr AB worked well in the 6.5mm Rem Mag. I shot this buck last year at 80 yds with the 130 gr AB dropping him in his tracks with a shoulder shot.
