Vince had a similar problem with the 35AI till I had the throat lengthened and it cleared up.
Make up a couple of dummy rounds seat to Book OAL and chamber them. If they hit the lands or throat it will shove the bullet deeper into the case and you can check by measuring the dummy for OAL That's how I discovered the short chamber throat in the 35AI.
