6.5x47 and 147gr ELD-M?

[.300winmag]

Curious on thoughts with this combo, what powders would be top contenders and what velocities could be expected from a 28" barrel? Assuming 2,750fps for a 140 Berger Hybrid and 2,650 for the 147, the ELD has 10" less wind deflection at 1000 yards with a 10mph wind, that is definitely a huge advantage!

I don't have ELD-m bullets listed in my quickload . I looked at the 143 gr ELD-x bullets and gathered this info for you . I think the powders will be in the same order for either bullet , for highest to lowest velocity . the 147 gr will use a little less powder and will give a lower velocity . this will give you something to think about .

G'Day Fella's,

.300WinMag, the standard load I use in my 26" barreled 6.5x47 Lapua, is as follow;
40grns of ADI AR-2209 (H 4350) powder,
Nosler 140 grn CC and Sierra 142grn MK,
Lapua Cases,
CCI BR2 primers.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the velocity of this load (I'll try to remember and locate it and report back).

This is the only group I have shot with this rifle (at 100meters), whilst running in the barrel.
