Anyone loading this combo? I'm gonna try shootin the heavier bullets in a 1:14 twist. I know it would be hard to stabilize but I know a guy that shoots 70gr bullets in his M700 with 1:14 and supposedly gets "good" groups and hunts with it. Mine wont be for hunting since .22 centerfires are illegal in tn. So where can I find a few loads for the 69gr J4 in a .22-250? I have a #3 & #5 nosler manual, Modern Reloading (Lee), Speer #12 and a Speer #3(I think) and none of them have a load heavier than 60gr.

Well sometimes some rifles break all the rules. We found that true for loading sometimes too. You need a 1-8/10" twist barrel for good accuracy. But heck can't hurt to try it in your 1-14" twist rifle.
We found that Viht N540 was the most accurate powder with our test barrel in 22-250 with the 22-69 CC. Here's the load:

Viht N540 Min 29.5grs
Max 33.5grs
Winchester case and WLR primers.
As always start low and work your loads up carefully.
