6mm Accuonds

I used to be pretty cold towards the .243 for deer, but a couple of thing have changed my mind.
1. Bullets keep getting better. What with Partitions and TSX/TTSX bullets (and I'm sure the AB will fall into this group), I think the .243 is more reliable.
2. I watched a doe that I shot with a .35 Whelen go further than a doe my buddy shot with a .22-250. I know, placement rules, but that doe he shot just absolutely dropped.

She died of embarrassment. The one shot with the Whelen was so proud that she wanted all the other deer in the herd to take note of the fact that you selected her for dispatch with a 35 Whelen. :mrgreen:
