Well the rifle is built and now I am on to getting the loads made up for this beast. Here is my plan. For those of you who have worked with bench rifles, does this look right?

1. Take a piece of brass and a bullet to measure the lands.
2. Load up 3 piece of brass with the bullets I plan on using to measure the outside diameter.
3. Run my brass through an expander die.
4. Run brass through my Redding die without the expander ball and a bushing that is .002 less than my measurements from step #2
5. Chamfer brass
6. Prime/charge/seat bullet .001 into the lands.

Your first step is good then inspect your brass make run them through the expander ball to make sure the mouths are round.
Then chamfer and when seating you want to jam .005 or jump not .001 the length of the ogive could be off enough some could jam and some might not. You need to fire form your brass before you worry about the other steps.
