Looking for a load recommendation for the 70AB for a 223 Rem. Savage 22" rifle. I've given up on finding a powder combo for the 60g Partition and the 64g PPT bullets. Powder listed in Loaddata is non-existent here in the NW.

I got some loaded up with 22,23, and 24grs of H335 like the nosler load data says but haven't had time to go try them out yet. I'll let you know what I come up with. Also miwall Corp had some 4lb containers of H335 online back on December the 4th for $136 a piece, that's where I got mine from

Ramshot Exterminator is another but for some reason the price has shot up on it as it used to be one of the cheaper Ramshot powders.

The H335 was no good for my rifle but I bought a box of factory loaded 70gr accubonds and they shot just like my hand loads did, 2 foot left then 2 foot low etc etc. I think the twist rate on my remington model 700 stainless 223 isn't gonna stabilize the 70gr accubonds. May try some different powders just to be sure

What is the twist in your rifle?

I'm not sure, I picked it up off outdoor trader from a guy above Athens GA a few weeks ago with no box or anything just bare rifle and I have yet to find it stamped on the barrel. It's a model 700 223 stainless bdl. I'm thinking that it has the bell & Carson black stock on it I know they sold some like that from the factory but it's not an ordinary factory synthetic stock,he had got it on trade with another gun and sold it to me for $650. Never been fired or even had scope mounts put on it, I figured that was a pretty good price lol

I have the same rifle and mine is a 1:12 twist, you probably would need a 1:8 or 9 twist for a 70g AB.

Yea I was wanting some 60gr partitions but couldn't find any and just happened to run across the accubonds and figured I'd give them a shot. I loaded up some 55gr ballistic tips with 25grs of H335 and they shoot jam up in it. Came across a little stainless model 7 in 260 remington a couple weeks ago with a 4-12x40 Varix iic on it just gotta work up a load for some 125 gr partitions for it which I got 7 boxes off nosler.com from the close out sale that I'm shooting now
